Southern Coastal Maine

Southern Coastal Maine (Episode 4)

Interior Designer Jerry Ripetoe of TJ's in Cape Neddick, Maine, helped us find the home for our pilot show in Southern Coastal Maine. Jerry had worked with homeowner Kathy Forbes to create this breathtaking home overlooking Nubble Light. With his signature flair with rich fabrics and textures, Rippetoe created a diningroom space that feels more like an elegantly relaxed restaurant (with tables and seating that can be joined for large family gatherings and grouped separately for more intimate dining events) than a private home. Jerry also brought his talent with outdoor spaces to the couple's front courtyard, selecting wonderful pieces to adorn the entrance to this fabulous home.

The Berkshires (Episode 1)

Homeowner Betsy Calhoun kicks off the series with a tour of her mountain top home in the Berkshires. Part Adirondack lodge, part New England barn, this green-roofed design will take your breath away. Learn about Betsy's stainless steel kitchen, designed to be ergonomically sound by this physical therapist, with Wolf wall ovens, a frenchtop range, warming drawers, Sub-Zero classic stainless steel refrigeration and more. Tour the master suite and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Okemo Mountain

Vermont (Episode 2)

Scott Kilgus of the Gassetts Group in Ludlow, Vermont joined New England Living host Pam Fletcher for a look at the most magnificent ski-in and ski-out homes on Okemo Mountain. Our resident ski expert (Pam was previously an Olympic skier) tells us these wonderful designs rival anything she's seen out West!

Ian Thompson takes us through this magnificent home, allowing us to see the newly restored formal living room, diningroom and more. Private chef Scott Taplin takes us through the new cook's kitchen and shows the updates that make his life easier.
