Coastal Maine

The South Coast of Maine is best known for its spectacular rocky coastline that features some of New England's most picture perfect harbors. And when people think of Maine, they think of lighthouses. Nubble Light off Cape Neddick was built in 1879, and it's one of the 67 lighthouses that line the South Coast of Maine. Broadcast schedule

Cape Cod

With some of America's most spectacular ocean vistas and 560 miles of beautiful coastline, Cape Cod has beaches that rival any in the world. The Cape has also evolved from being more than just a summer beach community, and now there are lots of choices of things to do. Broadcast schedule

Northern Connecticut

One of the most beautiful and undiscovered regions of New England is in Litchfield County in Northwest Connecticut. The area's lush scenery, classic villages and quiet towns have a charm all their own. Many folks make it a point to journey to the area just for the fantastic antiquing. North Shore Boston

Even though it's just a short drive from Boston, the coastal towns on the North Shore really have a lot to offer. The beaches are great, the sailing's terrific and the historic villages and homes are truly classic. Put that together with some great restaurants and unusual shopping and it's a region your sure to want to visit.

The North Shore is filled with classic seafaring towns from Rockport to Marblehead, to Essex, to Manchester-by-the-Sea. Or who can forget the working fishing town of Gloucester, made famous recently by The Perfect Storm.

New Hampshire

New Hampshire is a much underestimated part of New England. It's hard to find a state that offers such diversity that is so close to each other. There's some of the best skiing in the east in the White Mountains, a lovely seacoast region near Portsmouth, and in the summer there are beautiful lakes like Winnipesauke and Squam that offer plenty of great outdoor recreation and leisure. Nantucket

With the summer fast approaching, people are starting to make their summer vacation or weekend plans. One perennial favorite is a trip to the far away island of Nantucket. Most people remark that their first impression of the island is that it's like taking a trip back in time with all the beautifully restored antique homes and signature cobblestone streets. Most consider the South Shore of Boston the birthplace of our country because it was right here where the Pilgrims first landed.

When you travel the South Shore, you're surrounded by early American history...from classic antique homes to charming villages and towns that we're settled way back in the 1600 and 1700s.

Boston

Southern Connecticut

For many, Coastal Fairfield county is one part New England and one part New York. Some of the more affluent towns are well known, such as Greenwich and Westport. But recently, one city in the area has experienced a true cultural rebirth: South Norwalk, or SONO, as it is affectionately called. Broadcast schedule

Providence

As a real testament to Providence's resurgence, the League of American Cities recently named the city one of the most livable cities in America. And it's no wonder.

Providence is a small, manageable city with a unique blend of arts and culture, a great restaurant scene, beautiful historic architecture…and it's all set in a really fun college town environment.
